I love capturing the gorgeous glow and big beautiful bellies of all my expectant mommas. This is such a special time in your life and professional maternity portraits are a wonderful way to capture and remember your pregnancy.

Booking Your Session
Booking your Maternity Portrait Session is easy! I have three options for you:
- Complete my Book Your Session Form, and I’ll get back to you within 24 hours to confirm your details.
- Send an email to: krichardsphotography@gmail.com. Please provide your name and phone number, along with your preferred session date(s) with the subject: “Maternity Portrait Session“, and we’ll coordinate!

Your Session Payment
Your session payment is due prior to the session in order to hold your day and time.
When Is The Best Time For Maternity Portraits?
Every pregnancy is different so the timing of your session will vary. The ideal time to schedule your maternity session is between week 28 and 34. I want you to be photographed with a big beautiful belly and also to be comfortable throughout your session.
Doctors’ visits, getting the nursery ready, and getting plenty of rest can keep you quite busy. So you do want to schedule your session as soon as you can. If you are after 34 weeks you can still schedule your session and get beautiful photographs of this special time.
What Should I Wear?
The clothes that you wear during your session will help determine how you feel during the shoot and about your photographs. When I photograph moms-to-be, I really want to show off your beautiful form, so choose a few outfits that accentuate your beautiful body!
Form-fitting tops with chunky sweaters or long flowing dresses are great choices of clothing. You can choose your favorite maternity outfit but solid colors work best. As far as specific colors, it is completely up to you. As long as you are comfortable with what you are wearing, feeling confident and beautiful, then that is what matters.
Should My Husband And Children Take Part?
Absolutely! This is an important time in your life as well as your family. Capturing your family’s love and relationships in your photographs will be timeless and always cherished by everyone.
Where Should My Maternity Portraits Be Taken?
Two great locations to be photographed would be your home or a location that has meaning to you. This can be at your favorite park, where you had your first date, where you got married, or just a place that has a special meaning to you. Depending on the time, any location can be the perfect location for you! Try to picture yourself and what you love…that’s where I want to photograph you. If you don’t have a specific place in mind…no worries, I’ve got plenty of ideas.
Prints & Photographic Products
Photographic prints and other printed photographic products are not included in your session fee. If you would like to purchase prints, canvases, photo books, or other professionally printed photographic products, please review my Print Product Pricing for details.
After Your Portrait Session
When will you see your images?
Your images will be ready to view within 3 weeks of your Senior session. I will post some of my favorites on my Facebook page. I will send you an email letting you know that your images are posted. I’ll also include a link to a gallery where all of your images will be posted. An additional email will be sent giving you more details on how to order your prints and products.
Are the Facebook images copyrighted?
Yes. All images that are posted online, whether it’s Facebook, my blog or website, or your online gallery, are all watermarked and copyrighted. I do give permission for you to use a photo for your profile picture, but please do not remove the watermark. Thank you!
When will my prints and products be ready?
Upon receiving payment, I will place the order for your prints and products. Your order will be available for pick up within 3 weeks of payment. Enjoy!
